Our house is small and old (read: no closet space) so when we moved we got rid of TONS of stuff and it was so, so liberating. My wife Patti imposed the 1 year rul...Good for you! My wife Patti imposed the 1 year rule: you have to have a good reason for keeping something you haven't used in 1 year. Every other year or so we have a garage sale and give most stuff away to the immigrants and refugees in our community. We get laughs when we negotiate with the "garage sale rats". "How much is that?"
