Go Team Claire Small!

So we just found out over the weekend that our amazing friend and road nanny extraordinaire Claire Small has been chosen as one of the finalists for the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Competition. This is a huge, tremendous deal. Of course,  we're all super excited. In fact we're planning a road trip out to Kerrville on May 30th to see her rock the Threadgill Theater.

For those of you not in the know, the Kerrville Folk Festival is a three week, outdoor, total music love fest in the Texas Hill Country. It's a city built on music that springs to life in the early summer heat.  There's people playing everywhere, in every encampment and under every tree. And the music is a round the clock situation.  It's truly amazing to behold.
