Check out the sweet piece Jim Caliguiri did on the baby bus. He caught me the night we got home, and as I told him, I was fried, died and laid to the side. And I had a blast sitting on our front porch and chatting with him. Check it out!
Obviously you have to do what is best for you, but you've greatly improved Asleep at the Wheel (and who would have thought that was possible?), and my wife and I would be very disappointed if you left the band to pursue a solo career. On the other hand, we'd probably buy your CDs, especially if you went jazzy or with swing.
