SXSW is almost here, and I realize that I've hardly let anyone know where I'll be. Last year we played one gig and then left town on tour. This year, we get to be in town for almost all of the festival! Yay! And we're even playing a couple of times.
On Tuesday night we'll be at Ray Benson's Birthday Party at La Zona Rosa. Ray's letting us play a couple of songs from the new record between 7:30 and 8. Very exciting. And then we get to back up JD Souther, Raul Malo, Kat Edmonson, Carolyn Wonderland and Radney Foster.
On Wednesday we'll be playing outside at Guero's Taco Bar from 2-2:40 pm as part of the Comboplate Booking Party to Benefit Caritas Austin.

The rest of the week, except for Friday when the Wheel goes to Eagle Pass, we get to hang in town and enjoy the festival. This year, we're bringing the baby! I'm going to try not to get overwhelmed...ha!
